Deborah bennet vs garden creations

Lotus bud - yet fully closed. At this stage the pink lotus flower has a pink color of the bud outside, while the white lotus bud is clean green.

A beautiful and clear lotus pond with a variety of smaller lotus flowers and leeches. This morning I spent most of the time in this pond walking in deep and clear water on mostly sandy bottom. By the end I had some leeches as my visitors ...
Lotus flower photography is only for nature lovers. To get wet, to get dirty at times very dirty and as today even to get bloody seems normal in my lotus photo experience. Thus while enjoying the beautiful lotus flowers you get a free medical treatment and body detoxification. Enjoy.

After taking this flower, i wonder what is look like, and yes, i can see it's ear look like rabbit ear. So cute, and somehow, it's funny how the flow er shaped and look like the other living creature.

One of my highlights at this year's show has been the 'Art in the Garden'. As you wander around the showground you come across a variety of work from fibreglass cows to steel, pine and charcoal sculptures, as well as more traditional artwork, using willow and oak. moorcroft.jpgNot to be outdone however, many garden designers have used art in their show gardens. The Moorcroft Natural Woman Garden incorporates a handcrafted Moorcroft tile featuring the garden's plants, bees and butterflies. There's even more artwork from designers who are showcasing their work here. leaping_hare.jpgOne of my favourites is by an artist who has created leaping hares from twisted, plastic-coated wire - h e's really managed to inject movement into his pieces. I'd love to take one home but I can't afford the price tag.
